Family Violence in Benalla is a serious problem, 9th in the State out of 79 LGAs for Family Incidents reported to the Police and 2nd in the State where children are present. We have been working hard to continue to raise community awareness of the problem and empower and support women and children to report family incidents to the Police.
Kerry Burns, Chief Executive of Centre Against Violence will provide an inspiring talk on the impact of family violence on victims and especially on children who are exposed to family violence.
Come and support this great event and help reduce Family Violence in our community.
