Board members sought
Benalla Health is urging interested people to ‘Get on Board’ and apply for a part-time director position on the board, with positions to commence 1 July 2020.

Board Chair Louise Armstrong said people could make a real difference to Victoria’s health system by being a contributing member of the Benalla Health board.
“It is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic leadership of public health care delivery to your community,’’ she said.
“These positions provide an exciting opportunity for members of the Victorian public with relevant experience and qualifications to contribute to the strategic leadership of public health care.”
A tenure of three years applies for interested people and current board members, who haven’t exceeded the nine-year tenure, can also apply to be reappointed. Appointments on the board of Benalla Health can also assist in developing a resident’s existing career in the community.
Ms Armstrong said Benalla Health was keen to reflect the diversity of both the town and the state.
“We welcome applications from women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people of all ages, people with disabilities, people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender diverse and intersex people,” she said.
Applications close at 5pm on December 16.
