Things to see while on placement

Benalla is a small town located approximately 200km north-east of Melbourne, on the Hume Highway.  Affectionately known as the "Rose City" due to the rose gardens located on the banks of Lake Benalla, recognised as nationally significant by the National Register of Gardens in the 1960's.  

Benalla is part of North East Victoria's High Country, featuring mountains, rivers, snow field's and some of the states best food and wine.

Getting here:

Benalla is accessible by car from Melbourne on the Hume Highway or by train from Southern Cross station on the Seymour line visit V/Line for more information.
