Changes to services due to COVID-19
As part of our COVID-19 (coronavirus) response, new visitor guidelines for Benalla Health now apply.
Morrie Evans Wing:
We are now required to restrict visitation to Morrie Evans Wing to combat the spread of coronavirus.
- Visits must be limited to TWO people per resident at one time each day, with visits now restricted to resident rooms or outdoor areas.
- Children are not permitted to enter.
- We have also temporarily suspended large group visits or gatherings, including social activities or entertainment, until further notice.
Visitors must not enter Morrie Evans Wing or any part of the health service if:
- They have a fever or a cold or a flu-like illness or;
- They have returned from overseas in the past 14 days, or;
- They have been in contact with anyone who has been confirmed as having COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
Please help us do everything possible to protect our residents and staff by following these guidelines until further notice.
Other parts of our health service:
- Visitors are limited to ONE person per patient at a time.
- All visitors must be over school age.
Visitors must not enter any health service facilities if:
- They have a fever or a cold or a flu-like illness or;
- They have returned from overseas in the past 14 days, or;
- They have been in contact with anyone who has been confirmed as having COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
