Benalla Health has accommodation available for students while on placement.
Located at 50 Samaria Rd, the student accommodation consists of a four-bedroom fully self-contained house within the perimeter of Benalla Health grounds.
What do I need to bring?
Your bed will be made and you are provided with clean linen to change whilst you stay. Housekeeping will clean all shared areas each week however they will not enter your rooms for the duration of your stay. Each room has a bed, desk, chair and wardrobe. The student accommodation has full cooking facilities including pots and pans, cutlery and crockery, lounge, dining, laundry, shared bathroom (towels provided) and wireless internet facilities. You may purchase food at local supermarkets. The hospital provides staff meals for lunch and dinner vouchers are available from the front reception.
Total cost for students is $65 per week plus GST.
If this cost is payable by you an account will be raised and given to you whilst on placement, we ask that this be paid at the main reception of the hospital prior to you leaving.
If the cost is payable by your university the hospital will send an account to them.

When booking our student accommodation you must provide us with:

- Contact phone number
If you wish to cancel your booking you must give two working days notice prior to arrival or you will be charged the full amount.
As there is a shortage of student accommodation, you need to confirm your booking as early as possible.
Keys for the accommodation are available for collection from the Michael Long Education Centre, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
Lost keys or non returned keys will incur a cost of $50.
