Calling all Benalla women eligible to attend BreastScreen

The next Boob Bus to BreastScreen is scheduled for Monday 4 August, leaving Benalla Community Care Ray Sweeney Centre, Coster St, Benalla at noon

Travel to Shepparton for your mammogram. Arrive back around 5pm.

Cost: Your time and money for refreshments.

Who is eligible for free breast screening? BreastScreen Victoria provides free mammograms to women, trans and gender diverse people aged 50 to 74 years old. Talk to your doctor to find out if breast screening is right for you.

Aged 50 to 74? You should be screened every two years. Anyone aged 40-49 or 75+ who wants to screen for the first time or has not been recommended to have an annual breast screen (or are high risk if 75+) will go on a waiting list.

More than 75 per cent of breast cancers occur in women over 50 and regular breast screens are the best way to find breast cancer early. To check guidelines for BreastScreen phone 132 050 or go to breastscreen.org.au.
