Benalla Health’s 2026 Annual Appeal is now underway, with donation envelopes being distributed to Benalla residents from early June.

Interim CEO Donovan Jacka thanked the community for its ongoing support of local healthcare.

“Benalla Health belongs to this community, and the Annual Appeal is one of the ways people help us continue to care for it,” Mr Jacka said. “The generosity shown each year has a genuine impact on the services we can provide locally.”

Donations from last year’s Annual Appeal helped fund the purchase of a K2 Monitoring System for our maternity services, enhancing patient monitoring and supporting staff to respond quickly and effectively when care needs change, improving safety and quality of care across our services.

The focus of this year’s Annual Appeal is the purchase of essential equipment for Benalla Health’s Urgent Care Centre. This equipment will support timely, high-quality care for patients requiring urgent medical attention and assist our clinicians to deliver safe, effective treatment when it matters most. Community support will help ensure local people can continue to access urgent care close to home.

Mr Jacka said Benalla Health is deeply grateful for the community’s continued backing.

“We know there are many causes people care about, and we appreciate any support our community is able to offer. Every donation helps us keep quality healthcare close to home, where it belongs.”
